Tin
It is the coating of the surface of a metal piece with tin to enhance protection against corrosion and oxidation. It improves electrical conductivity, is beneficial for weldability, and provides a shiny or matte finish.

Type I – Electrodeposited
Type I – Unless otherwise specified, it should be:
0.01 – 0.00025 for weldability.
0.0003 minimum to prevent base metal corrosion.
It has excellent weldability properties and corrosion protection. For base metals, a layer of copper or zinc should be applied before the tin coating.
Specify whether the finish is shiny or matte. For base metals like bronze or zinc alloys, a layer of copper or zinc should be applied before the tin coating. It offers excellent weldability properties and corrosion protection.
